Bringing Your Family to Visit Artworks Exhibition at Pasar Seni Ancol

The Pasar Seni Ancol North Art Space (NAS) Gallery is holding a painting exhibition commemorating National Drawing Month. The exhibition showcases 77 paintings from 32 artists and it has been ongoing from May 15 to June 5, 2022.

Hope this event can revive Ancol

North Jakarta Mayor Ali Hakim, who opened the exhibition with the theme of drawing Formula-X (urban series) appreciated the works of the showcased artists.

"I invite the public to bring their families and children to Ancol to visit the NAS Gallery in Ancol Dreamland Park, North Jakarta. This artwork inspires us all, especially children," he expressed, Monday (5/16).

Pasar Seni Ancol to Hold Online Discussion

PT Taman Impian Jaya Ancol Operational Director Eddy Prastiyo welcomed the event which was held in the framework of the National Drawing Month.

"For almost two years, we have not held any events and recreation. Hope this event can revive Ancol. Currently, we have started holding events at the art market and the beach," he expressed.

Exhibition Leader RB Setiawanta added the exhibition with the theme Formula-X (urban series) was the idea of the togetherness of the Pasar Seni Ancol family. With this theme, the artists will show a formula for a broader relationship between expression and the current urban culture of Jakarta.

"Hope it can provide education to the public about what art means and what kinds of art it is in," he hoped.

One of the visitors to the NAS Gallery Muhammad Shaoki expressed that it can add insight and knowledge to express ideas.

“I think the artists here (Pasar Seni) are all great, the titles given are cool," he stated.
